Schools: Agreement |
|
PLTW is a network of schools that have committed in a written
agreement to offer students a high quality program which meets
a pre-determined set of quality standards and practices. The
agreement serves as an important communication vehicle for
current and future participants in the program and is useful
in answering questions that may arise during the year.
All school districts sign an Agreement with Project Lead
The Way. Because our program is offered in a variety of settings,
we have two types of Agreements which you may review below.
Read the Complete Agreement so that you will become familiar
with the Elements of the Agreement. The Agreements here are
offered for Informational Purposes only.
- Sample
District and School Agreement: This is used
by a district which will be offering the program in its
own middle and/or high schools. This is the most frequently
used agreement.
- Sample
Lead Educational Agency Agreement: This is
used by a regional facility (LEA) and two or more school
districts (joinders) working with it. Under this plan, the
school districts offer 2 or 3 of the introductory PLTW courses
in their own schools. The remaining courses are offered
in the regional facility to students from participating
districts.
